2026 Earth Day Fair and Parade
AdvenChair will be represented at this annual family-friendly event, which will feature a lively and inclusive celebration where people of all ages are encouraged to wear costumes that showcase their favorite thing about planet Earth. The fair will feature food vendors, booths, performers and artists.
Important: The 2026 Earth Day Fair & Parade will take place at Alpenglow Park in Bend, Oregon, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, due to construction at the Environmental Center.
AdvenTours Accessible Guided Scenic Hike at Smith Rock State Park
Upon arriving at the park, our options are many, from a beautiful and flat wander along the canyon rim to a descent into the crooked river canyon, hiking along spectacular riparian habitat and scouting for otters and osprey! Both hikes will enliven the senses and spark wonder at the fantastic geology that shapes this incredible canyon.

AdvenTours Accessible Guided Hike Deschutes River Trail: Benham Falls
This serene trail will take us through a forest of Ponderosa Pine among spectacular lava flows where vistas of Oregon’s backbone, the Cascade Range, stand tall in the distance. We’ll witness the seemingly placid Deschutes turn torrid as it careens over ancient lava rock falls while aspen groves sweep along the river’s edge.
AdvenTours Accessible Guided Fort Rock Sunset Hike & Stargazing
Join us for a stunning sunset hike at Fort Rock followed by a night of immersive stargazing! Fort Rock is an absolutely incredible stargazing destination, lying just north of the newly designated Oregon Outback Dark Sky Sanctuary. As a whole, the Oregon Outback is the largest contiguous dark sky shed in the United States, boasting some of the best stargazing in the entire world.

Crater Lake National Park is a geologic marvel and home to one of the most stunning bodies of water in the world. From the top of Mt. Scott to the edge of the deepest, purest lake in the United States, the exploration at America's 6th National Park is endless!
AdvenTours Guided Accessible Paulina Creek Scenic Hike
Paulina Creek flows from the stunning Paulina Lake in the Newberry Caldera and its surrounding wetlands and meadows, providing habitat for a wide range of fish and wildlife! On our adventure, we will head upstream, watching the creek cascade over one volcanic outcropping after another, learning about the incredible National Volcanic Monument that serves as the starting point for this spectacular body of water.
AdvenTours Guided Accessible Tumalo Creek (Shevlin Park) Scenic Hike
We will begin our adventure along the crystal clear waters of Tumalo Creek. During our hike, we’ll experience a magnificent ecosystem filled with burgeoning flora and fauna such as spring migratory birds. Our route will take us through a section of Tumalo canyon where we will immerse ourselves in some of Central Oregon’s finest geologic features.
Breaking Barriers: Life Beyond Labels Conference
AdvenChair will be an exhibitor at this year’s Breaking Barriers: Life Beyond Labels Conference at the Deschutes County Expo Center in Redmond, Oregon, on April 21, 2026. The conference gathers together family members, self-advocates, educators, and professionals to create inclusive communities and challenge our existing perspectives.

Come to the Deschutes County Oregon’s brand new Redmond location and WATCH FOR FREE the 48-minute award-winning documentary DREAM BOLDLY The Grand AdvenChair, followed by a Q&A with the AdvenChair visionary, Geoff Babb, and Director Marcia Volk. Local Bend adventurer Geoff Babb, a survivor of two strokes, takes years to perfect an all-terrain human-powered wheelchair, culminating in a rigorous 4-day expedition down and back out of the Grand Canyon, with a ripple effect on others from its creation—access to nature previously out of reach.
Oregon Outdoor Recreation Summit
The 2025 summit will bring together Oregon’s outdoor community to learn, build relationships, and find solutions to the challenges we face in developing and elevating outdoor recreation opportunities to best serve Oregon communities and celebrate and protect our natural, cultural, and historic wonders. The 2025 Summit will take place Thursday-Saturday, November 6-8, in Pendleton, Oregon and surrounding areas. The summit combines fun and high impact in-person networking opportunities with conference programming on the important issues of the day, educational content, trails stewardship work parties, and in-field tours and workshops.

At each walk location, we offer a ~1k and ~5k walk route suitable for participants of all ages and abilities. Individuals, families, and teams gather to create a powerful opportunity to raise awareness and support for those living with Parkinson's and PD+, ensuring no one faces this disease alone.

Join us on Labor Day for a birding adventure with Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory, Birding Without Barriers. The event is an invitation to people with mobility challenges, their friends, and families at Sunriver Nature Center & Observatory on Monday, September 1st, from 9:30am - 11:30am.
Ian’s Ride Sea-to-Sound
Join us at Ian’s Ride Sea To Sound, a a 74-mile, three-day, multi-modal group ride spanning the entire length of the Olympic Discovery Trail. It is also a fundraising opportunity for Ian's Ride, a 501(c)3 non profit in the State of Washington. The Olympic Peninsula is the farthest northwest expanse of land one can explore along the US coast.

SOAR is a FREE day of wellness, sport, and outdoor activities specifically created for people with physical challenges and disabilities.
Attendees may have conditions such as: stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy, and Parkinson's. Family and friends are welcome to join!
